When I started playing basketball at about twelve (kinda late, I know), I didn’t have much going for me. I was the guy who couldn’t shoot outside at all or dribble unless I had my back turned to the defender. Luckily I was stronger than most kids my age, so I became a good rebounder and could guard big men much taller than myself because they couldn’t push me around.
In high school, I started learning drills to work on my dribbling and shooting, and I would practice in my free time. While I never became the star guard on my team, I did vastly improve my game while I was in high school and became an everyday starter on a championship winning team. I know from these experiences what hard work and dedication can do for even the rawest of players.
I want to share with you simple tools that (if you are willing to work hard) can help you take your game to the next level.
